Conflict/Resolution

Authors Note: I loved the book Storm breaker and the Alex Rider series. When I first heard of this assignment, I immediately thought of this book.
The Unlikely Spy

The conflict in the book storm breaker in the Alex Rider series is Person vs. Person. The main conflict is about a billionaire Herod Sayle who wants revenge on all of the rich schoolboys in Britain. When he was a kid, Herod was bullied by the snotty schoolboys and the ring leader of the school Darrius went to ended up being the prime minister. Darrius decides to invent the storm breaker, a super computer which lets you do more than ever. But when the prime minister is live on TV to press the button to activate the storm breakers, they will release smallpox so deadly, a teaspoon could destroy a small city.

Alex Rider, an anti-social kid is dragged into this when his uncle died. He thought his uncle was a banker but actually was a secret agent working for MI6. MI6 wants Alex to go undercover and find out what Herod Sayle is hiding. Once Alex knows the truth he stops at nothing to save the lives of millions and put Sayle to an end. The conflict is resolved when Sayle is shot and killed and his plans are stopped.

  1. To be honest you didn't do great on this piece. Instead of saying the book was really good maybe say why it was good or quote the book to start it. You did pretty good setting the scene though. Overall it was okay but you need to make it longer and more in depth.
